Following on the heels of the Virgin Atlantic Bio-Fuel flight, Richard Branson’s airline has taken another step towards becoming greener:
“Virgin Atlantic Airways will start using General Motors Corp zero-emission fuel cell cars as limousines for VIP passengers in the United States…” (from abcNews.com)

There he goes again (our CEO), posting more “Geek Data” on which planes clog our skies.
Boeing tends to dominate the U.S. domestic skies, but Virgin America selected the Airbus narrow body jet as its plane of choice for its new hub and service from San Francisco, with those oh so comfy new seats and amenities. The number of seats Virgin flies is noted at the bottom of the post — I hope we see a lot more seats in the air in the coming years as more competition = cheaper airline tickets.
